Cooking instructions for the Christmas Bundle
For the Roast, Loaf & Soy Mince Patties:
Take out the frozen products a day before and place them in the fridge, this way they will thaw overnight and will be ready to use. Alternatively you can take the products out of the freezer and have it stand on the kitchen counter for a minimum of 6 hours before use. We do not recommend defrosting the products in a microwave oven as this may alter the texture and flavor of our products.
Preheat your oven to 180 C and when you’re ready place the products in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Can be placed in the oven in the container it comes in, just remove the paper lid. After 25-30 minutes in the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes in the container before flipping it over and cutting in. After resting flip the loaf over on to a plate and use a serrated knife and cut into the loaf like you would with bread. This will help keeping it together.
Remove the packaging it comes in and start by coating the roast in oil/butter or veggie stock if avoiding oil, this will help keep the moisture. Place it on an oven safe plate before putting it in the oven. After 20-30 minutes in the oven let it rest 5 minutes before cutting into it. Use a sharp blade and cut into thin slices.
Soy Mince Patties
Remove the packaging they come in and place them on an oven safe plate before putting it in the oven. Ready to serve after 20-30 minutes in the oven.
For the Sauce Mix:
Add the dry Sauce Mix to a small saucepan and add 600ml of water. Mix the sauce well and heat up to a boil, reducing the heat to medium low after it comes to a boil. Let simmer on medium low heat for about 5 minutes and serve right after.
